Eliminating ear pain during flights

Excruciating ear ache, during flight, is reason enough to have nightmare about travel. This common malady and its crippling aspect have the ability to put one off traveling by air completely. An uncomplicated maneuver, a two thumbs exercise can easily steer us clear of this horrific pain.

  1. Breath in and fill your mouth with air

  2. Your cheeks should be puffed out as much as possible

  3. Lock your nostrils slightly with your respective thumb

  4. Then try to push the air out through your ears This act would put a slight pressure from the inside on your ear and in the process, relieve all the blockages and therefore, free the ear of intense pain felt. Please perform this exercise as soon as you feel pressure and pain build up in your ear. This also works wonders in case of blocked nostrils and blocked ears during cold and cough. So, instead of dreading travel by air due to the fear of the pain, use this simple tool and conquer your fear.
